Nancie Crabb; First Council Woman of Jacksonville

This is a page and podcast I created after my interview with the first council woman of Jacksonville, Florida Nancie Crabb

Clara White Mission

The Clara White Mission is a homeless shelter in downtown Jacksonville that has job skill training program for homeless adults to learn useful skills in a working restaurant environment. In Public Relations writing I developed a press kit targeting the youth of downtown to help volunteer to help the efforts of the mission.

The Clara White Mission is a homeless and food shelter in downtown Jacksonville, right outside of the Springfield district. The mission offers job skill training courses to those underprivileged at-risk adults in the surrounding areas. Giving second chances at life, many individuals find new hope in the world. Griffin Anders, now sous chef at Chew Restaurant and hose of Late Night Cookery with Bert-no-shirt (pictured above) who also co-founded Zombie Bikes did so thanks to the mission and its volunteers. Community Service hours can be fufilled in a non-judgemental environment, as well as contributing to the growth of a thriving downtown.

Katie Ride For Life

This proposal was made in Public Relations Cases class for The Kate Ride For Life Foundation, an organization promoting organ donation through an annual bicycle ride, I was on a team of 5 in developing a 6 month long campaign and memorial wall.
